COMMENT ABOUT GOALS:

I'm interested in the intersection between statistics and machine learning.  Consequently, some programs are better via the computer science department, and some are better via the statistics department.  Regardless of where I go and in what department, I plan to get a strong foundation of both statistics and machine learning.
